Description

HiGlo Enamel is more than a finish—it’s a statement of care, precision, and lasting brilliance. Formulated to protect wood, metal, and plaster surfaces, HiGlo dries to a radiant high-gloss sheen that resists water, solvents, and yellowing—even in low-light areas. Its excellent flow ensures brush strokes level out during drying, leaving a smooth, professional finish every time.
Whether you’re restoring skirting boards, refreshing bathroom trims, or elevating doors and frames, HiGlo delivers durability with elegance. It contains no lead and uses non-toxic pigments, making it safe for homes, schools, and high-touch surfaces.
Where to use it:
• Doors and door frames
• Window frames and skirting boards
• Bathrooms and home trim
• Mild steel, wood, and plaster surfaces
Surface Preparation & Application:
• Mild Steel (New): Degrease and sand to bright finish. Prime with EnviroPrime or AllPrime Plus, then UniSub. Apply 1–2 coats of HiGlo.
• Mild Steel (Previously Painted): Test adhesion. Strip failing paint, sand to matte, spot-prime exposed metal, apply UniSub, then 1–2 coats of HiGlo.
• Doors & Frames (New): Sand smooth, prime with UniSub. Apply 2 coats of HiGlo.
• Doors & Frames (Previously Painted): Strip failing paint, sand, spot-prime exposed metal, apply UniSub, then 1–2 coats of HiGlo.
• Outstanding Finish Tip: Sand and apply 2 coats of UniSub, sanding between coats. Apply 3 coats of HiGlo—first undiluted, second with 10% turpentine, third with 15%—sanding between each. The result: a flawless, spray-like gloss.
• New Plaster or Gypsum: Prime with PlasterPrime. Apply 2 coats of HiGlo, with or without UniSub for smoother finish.
• Previously Painted Plaster: Strip failing paint, clean, sand, prime exposed areas, apply UniSub, then 1–2 coats of HiGlo.
Application Tips:
• Use brush, sponge/mohair roller, or spray (add 10% turpentine for spray).
• Allow 6 hours drying between coats.
• Avoid applying near open flames—HiGlo is flammable.
Cleanup & Storage:
• Clean tools with turpentine immediately after use.
• Store in cool, dry conditions away from children and heat sources.
HiGlo isn’t just enamel—it’s a high-gloss legacy of craftsmanship, built to protect and shine for years to come.
