Whether you’re designing a feature wall or restoring a surface with flaws, Grantex transforms ordinary plaster into a textured canvas of resilience.
This non-yellowing, odourless, and environmentally friendly formula adheres beautifully to interior and exterior walls, offering water and alkali resistance with a finish that lasts. It’s available in a wide range of colours and can be used as a primer coat on good-quality plaster. For best results, it’s recommended to overcoat with a final topcoat.

Surface Preparation & Application:
• New Plaster: Remove loose material. Apply directly to sound plaster. For friable surfaces, seal with AcrySeal (1:1 water), allow to dry, then apply 1–2 coats of Grantex.
• Previously Painted Plaster:
• Poor adhesion: Strip old paint, wash chalking surfaces, seal with AcrySeal, then apply Grantex.
• Good adhesion: Clean walls, allow to dry, then apply Grantex.
• Application Tools:
• Sponge Stipple Roller for increased texture
• Sheepskin Roller for granular finish
• Block Brush for brushed sand look
Application Tips:
• Work quickly and maintain a wet edge.
• Always work corner to corner—never stop mid-wall.
• Use scaffolding for double-story walls with two applicators meeting wet edges.
• Avoid direct sunlight or temperatures above 30°C.
• Professional painters recommended for roller application to ensure even texture.
Cleanup & Storage:
• Clean tools with water immediately after use.
• Store in cool, dry conditions away from children.
