Description

RhinoSeal is your first line of defense when prepping hard-to-paint surfaces. This fine particle size, water-borne acrylic bonding liquid is specially formulated to penetrate deeply into gypsum plaster, old chalking paint, and absorbent concrete—binding loose material and creating a stable foundation for your topcoats.
Whether you’re restoring old walls or priming new surfaces, RhinoSeal delivers peace of mind with its proven ability to penetrate up to 120 microns in one coat, locking down friable material and resisting alkali and efflorescence. It’s low-odour, fast-drying, and designed to work where other primers fail.

Where to use it:
• Gypsum plaster (good and poor quality)
• Old chalking paint and whitewash
• New precast concrete
• As a bonding liquid before painting
Surface Preparation & Application:
• Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free of grease
• Treat algae with Paintcor Ushevu if needed
• Apply 1 coat of RhinoSeal and allow ±3 hours to dry
• Inspect for binding—apply second coat if chalk remains
• Finish with 2 topcoats of your choice (optional undercoat for correction)
Important Notes:
• Do not apply to excessively thick chalking layers without confirming penetration
• RhinoSeal must not be diluted
• Poor priming will result in paint failure—check binding before painting
Application Equipment:
Brush, mohair/sheepskin/synthetic roller, or spray
Cleanup & Storage:
• Clean tools with soap and water immediately after use
• Store in cool, dry conditions away from children
